The search for sailors from the stricken ship HS Dignity resumed at 10.30am today, the Ministry of Transport said. A Navy ship is checking the area.
This report follows our earlier story about the four surviving sailors, who arrived in Varna after their ship sank following a drone strike.
Rescuers paused the active part of the search and observation operation at 6pm yesterday. The ministry gave the reasons: darkness, worsening weather and 16 hours of non-stop rescue and coordination work.
Nine ships and two helicopters took part in the search, along with vessels that happened to be passing nearby. All ships crossing the area have received navigation warnings to take more care and keep a closer watch.
The motor ship HS Dignity was hit in the early hours of 13 October.
