Burgas Free University (BFU) announced a competition to create thematic images and banners under the title “Create the vision of the future – start from BFU”. The initiative is dedicated to the upcoming 35th anniversary of the founding of the university.
The aim of the competition is to create visual proposals that reflect the spirit, mission, and uniqueness of BFU and its four academic centers – for legal sciences, economics and management sciences, humanities, as well as computer science and technical sciences.
All students of the university can participate in the creative challenge. Each participant must submit a set of five thematic images (for the university and for each of the four academic centers) with a size of 1920x1080 pixels. The organizers specify that the proposals must be original – author's photos or drawings. The use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools to create the visuals is also allowed.
The deadline for submitting projects is March 1, 2026. A specialized commission will evaluate the submitted proposals, and the winners will be awarded prizes and certificates during the Student Scientific Creativity Conference (SSCC) in 2026. With the competition, the university aims to give students the opportunity to actively participate in building the visual identity of BFU and to present their view on “the new idea in education”, the university adds.
BTA recalls that recently Burgas Free University (BFU) received accreditation from the International Cooperation Office of the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China for conducting a joint bachelor's program in "Computer Systems and Technologies".
