The Central Election Commission (CEC) is preparing to finalize the election process following the parliamentary elections. The Chairperson of the Commission, Kameliya Neykova, announced that the official announcement of the names of the elected members of the 52nd National Assembly will take place on Saturday, April 25.

Deadlines according to the Election Code

In order for the process to be transparent and legitimate, the CEC follows strict legal deadlines set in the Election Code:

  1. Announcement of votes and mandates: No later than four days after election day (Thursday).
  2. Announcement of the names of the deputies: No later than seven days after election day (Sunday).
