The Sea Garden in Burgas will turn into a literary center from August 13 to 17, when more than forty Bulgarian publishers will participate in the festival "Beach Book". Visitors will have the opportunity to browse and purchase book novelties in specially designated trade tents located around the "Flora" Expo Center.
The rich program promises diverse cultural events, including literary work premieres, meetings with writers, poetry readings, and children's events. The first day of the festival, August 13, will be marked by the presentation of significant titles such as the encyclopedia "Black Sea" from Marmot Publishing and the novel "Night Eyes" by Jack Lance.
The poetic highlight of the opening will be the premiere of the poetry collection "Trefoil" by Diana Savateva, with the participation of Aksinia Mihaylova. The next day, August 14, the focus will be on children's literature with the presentation of "Mary and the Leprechaun" by Elena Stoycheva and the collection "Blue Shame" by Galina Cholakova.
August 15 will offer meetings with established Bulgarian authors such as Stefan Minchev and his collection "Bulgarian Work. Tense Coordination", as well as Krasimir Dimovski's new novel "Theseus in His Labyrinth". Additional variety will be brought by presentations of translated titles by Krasimir Prodanov and Nikola Raykov's children's "Story-Games".
The penultimate day of the festival, August 16, will be dedicated to poetry with the premiere of "Water Through Fingers" by Ivan Suhivanov and the novel "Rodinia" by Nikolay Terziyski. Yuliyana Doncheva will present her book "The Avalanche" from Knigomania Publishing.
The closing day, August 17, will close the literary forum with children's book premieres such as "Iva Who Talks to Animals: Vacation" and "Adventures of Heartko", as well as the poetry collection "Safe Needles and Foreign Approval" by Martin Krastev.
