Books by Bulgarian Authors, Including Those from Burgas, in the Congress Library in Buenos Aires

Bulgarian books, donated by the National Library, with the participation of authors from Burgas, enrich the collection of the Congress Library in Buenos Aires. Daniel Cotini, the Argentinian Minister Plenipotentiary, welcomed the initiative, and future literary contacts were discussed.

Books by Bulgarian authors, including representatives from Burgas, will be added to the collection of the Congress Library in Buenos Aires. 

The consignment was handed over a few days ago at the Embassy of Argentina in Sofia by Kristina Bundzhulova - secretary of the National Literary Museum - NLM in Sofia, with the assistance of Marina Vasileva – former consul of the Republic of Bulgaria in the Republic of Argentina, a prominent translator from Spanish and an active public figure, announced the initiators of the undertaking. 

They specified that the collection of the Congress Library includes books by Georgi Konstantinov, Prof. Zlatimir Kolarov, Prof. Banko Bankov, Vesela Lyutskanova, Atanas Kapralov, Georgi Nikolov, Natalia Nedyalkova, Dimitar Hristov, Asen Asenov and Djina Dundova-Pancheva. 

The Burgas participation is by Georgi Nikolov – writer, journalist and literary critic with his book "The Bulgarian Sea in the Heart of Time" (literary studies and articles about Bulgarian authors inspired by the sea) and by the poet and translator Natalia Nedyalkova with her new collection of poems "On the Eve of February 31", published with the financial support of Burgas Municipality.

The books by Bulgarian authors were received by the diplomat at the Argentine Embassy, Minister Plenipotentiary Daniel Cotini, who praised the initiative.  

During the meeting at the embassy, possibilities for various initiatives aimed at activating literary contacts and promoting the work of Bulgarian authors were discussed.

In turn, the literary critic Georgi Nikolov commented that soon the funds of prestigious world libraries will be supplemented by the legendary Burgas literary magazine – "More".
