For the third consecutive year, on March 12th at 2:30 PM in Burgas, the event "Cafe of the Forgotten Order" will be held, organized by the Home Social Patronage and dedicated to raising public awareness of people with dementia.

In an informal atmosphere like a coffee with friends, visitors to the restaurant "Lichno" will have the opportunity to meet and talk with neurologist Dr. Petkova and psychiatrist Dr. Petrova, to learn more about the early signs of dementia and to schedule an appointment for diagnostic tests.

During the event, free purple bracelets will be distributed as a symbol of support for people with dementia. Psychologists will present short artistic scenes showing everyday situations and the behavior of a person with dementia.

People from "Grizhovnik" will also have a special role, who will serve the guests, to show that besides challenges, people with dementia also have resources, dignity and a need for communication.

The unique hosts from the restaurant "Lichno" support the initiative and show that business can be socially engaged and sympathetic to important public causes.

"Cafe of the Forgotten Order" is an invitation to understanding, empathy and conversation, because behind the diagnosis is a person who needs attention and support.
