Police in the Burgas region have uncovered several cases of drug possession and identified the perpetrator of a theft in the village of Banya that occurred between September 18 and 20 this year, according to the Ministry of Interior.
On September 18, law enforcement officers conducted a search of an apartment in Sunny Beach, where they discovered 5 grams of cannabis, 5 ecstasy pills, and 2 grams of methamphetamine.
The following day, September 19, a 54-year-old man and a 39-year-old woman were detained in the Akhthopol area. Police found 12 cannabis plants and a quantity of marijuana in their possession. On the same day in Kameno, officers discovered 15 grams of cannabis during a search of a 35-year-old man.
On September 20, in Pomorie, 7 grams of methamphetamine and 1 gram of cannabis were seized from a 36-year-old man.
According to the Ministry of Interior, on that same date, September 20, a theft of 1000 euros and a debit card took place in the village of Banya. The perpetrator was subsequently identified as a 31-year-old woman from the village of Gradec.
