Low water levels on the Danube River have halted ferry services at the Svishtov – Zimnitz and Oryahovo – Bechet crossings. However, traffic at all other border crossings with Romania remains normal.
At the Greek border, traffic is flowing normally at all checkpoints. Passenger cars and minibuses weighing up to 3.5 tons are passing through the "Rudozem", "Zlatograd", "Makaza", and "Ivaylovgrad" checkpoints. Light vehicles, buses, and trucks are moving through "Kulata", "Ilijden", and "Kapitan Petko Voyvoda".
Heavy truck traffic is being recorded at the exits towards Turkey at the "Kapitan Andreevo" and "Lesovo" border control points. This data was provided by the General Directorate "Border Police" – Ministry of Interior in a statement updated as of 6:00 a.m. this morning.
Traffic is normal at all border control points on the border with Serbia, as well as on the border with the Republic of North Macedonia.
