Information Meeting for the Youth Center in Pomorie: New Opportunities for Young People

An information meeting for the future Youth Center was held on Maritsa Street in Pomorie. Plans for the building were presented, including multi-purpose halls, a conference hall, and parking spaces. The mayor emphasized the importance of the project for the personal development of young people and the future development of the city.

Today, an informational meeting was held on the project "Construction of a Youth Center - Pomorie" at the site of the future building on Maritsa Street (next to Kindergarten „Sun“) in the Sever district.

The building will have two multifunctional halls for 80 people, which will be separated by a movable partition wall, which, if necessary, will be retracted and will combine the two halls into one larger hall for 160 people. There will also be a conference hall, an entrance foyer, an administrative office, sanitary facilities and a warehouse. The required number of parking spaces is also provided.

The event aimed to inform the local community about the goals, activities and expected results of the project implementation. During the meeting, the main parameters of the investment, the construction stages, as well as the benefits that the new Youth Center will bring to young people in the region were presented.

The meeting was attended by the Mayor of Pomorie Municipality Ivan Aleksiev, the project team, representatives of the contractor, young people, citizens and interested parties. Those present had the opportunity to ask questions and get acquainted on the spot with the future layout and functionality of the center.

"The construction of the Youth Center is an important step towards improving the opportunities for personal development, activity and social inclusion of young people in Pomorie. A step towards the future development of our city, and I count on young people to fill it with meaning and content," Mayor Aleksiev emphasized during the event.

The project is financed under the National Recovery and Sustainability Plan, Pillar "Innovative Bulgaria". Component 1- Education and Skills, and is aimed at creating a sustainable environment for the development of youth activities, training, social and cultural initiatives.
