According to Vice President Iliana Yotova, the vote of no confidence, which is due to be discussed and voted on this week, is different from the previous ones because it has the support of the vast majority of citizens. Yotova commented on this to journalists.

She participated in the opening of the public discussion "Bulgaria and the new European budget 2028 - 2034: goals and opportunities". Yotova pointed out that this is the first discussion that opens the word on what the next multiannual financial framework or the next budget of the European Union will look like.

Regarding the new draft state budget, the Vice President noted that there are concerns that one accounting table will be replaced with another, without any hint of the policies that are needed for Bulgaria and the reforms that need to be carried out. Dialogue is possible, there could have been a completely different attitude towards all partners and towards Bulgarian society. I would advise next time to rely on verbal communication, added the Vice President.
