A Call for Unity in Foreign Policy
Vice President Iliana Iotova expressed confidence that Bulgaria must demonstrate a consolidated position in its foreign policy relations. Speaking to the media, she emphasized that our country's voice within the European Union must carry the same weight as that of the other 26 member states.
Our voice in Europe must be just as strong as that of the other 26 countries.
Response to Criticisms of the Prime Minister
Regarding claims that the new prime minister is not pro-European, Iotova was categorical:
- She described such claims as part of the political opponents' propaganda.
- She called for an end to confrontation, emphasizing that the election campaign and the vote are already over.
Earlier in the day, during the event, Vice President Iotova and President Rumen Radev paid tribute at the Monument to the Unknown Soldier in memory of those who fell in the fight against Nazism.
