Vice President Iliana Iotova called for a unified foreign policy for Bulgaria and dismissed criticism of the Prime Minister as post-election political propaganda.

A Call for Unity in Foreign Policy

Vice President Iliana Iotova expressed confidence that Bulgaria must demonstrate a consolidated position in its foreign policy relations. Speaking to the media, she emphasized that our country's voice within the European Union must carry the same weight as that of the other 26 member states.

Our voice in Europe must be just as strong as that of the other 26 countries.

Response to Criticisms of the Prime Minister

Regarding claims that the new prime minister is not pro-European, Iotova was categorical:
