First steps: Analysis and audit at the Ministry of Tourism
The newly elected Minister of Tourism, Ilin Dimitrov, announced that his priority task is to conduct a detailed analysis and audit of the state of the ministry. "My first step has always been the same – we will conduct an audit and hold a press conference to announce what we have found," he stated after taking office.
"A huge responsibility in the context of geopolitical events and the difficult economic situation, but also an opportunity to reform our sector," shared Dimitrov.

The minister emphasized that he does not promise miracles, but rather purposeful work, open dialogue with the sector, and transparency. He expressed his gratitude to the outgoing caretaker minister, Irena Georgieva, for the excellent institutional tone.
