The Minister of Labor and Social Policy, Borislav Gutsanov, will meet the world champion from the Para-athletics World Championships, Ruzhdi Ruzhdi, at "Vasil Levski" Airport today. This was announced by the press center of the relevant ministry.

He has achieved remarkable successes, including twice as a Paralympic champion – from the Games in Rio de Janeiro in 2016 and again in Paris in 2024. In 2021, he won a silver medal in Tokyo. Ruzhdi Ruzhdi can also boast six European titles, note the Ministry of Labor and Social Ministry.

Minister Gutsanov emphasizes that the policy aimed at the integration and socialization of people with disabilities, including through sport, is a main priority. The social ministry adds that the achievements of the Paralympians are extremely valuable for our country. These successes are proof of the enormous opportunities of people with disabilities, who can be useful to themselves and to society. The ministry believes that it is of utmost importance to support their development and to publicize their successes.
