Grigor Dimitrov continues his confident run at the Challenger 75 grass-court tournament in the Irish capital, Dublin, after securing his place in the quarterfinals.

In a second-round match of the main draw, the Bulgarian prevailed decisively over home representative Conor Gannon 6:2, 6:3. The match lasted one hour and ten minutes, during which Dimitrov controlled the events on the court.

The match began in excellent fashion for Bulgaria's top-ranked player. Early on, he secured an early break, which gave him a 3:0 lead in games. By the end of the set, Grisho broke his opponent's serve again and closed out the opening set 6:2 in just 32 minutes.

The second set offered a more even contest. Conor Gannon, who is ranked 1089th in the world rankings, managed to raise his level and reached a break point opportunity. However, the Irishman missed his chance, and Dimitrov kept his composure, held his serve, and took a 3:2 lead.

Towards the end of the set, the Bulgarian again demonstrated a higher class, controlled the rallies, and did not allow his opponent to get back into the match, finalizing the score at 6:3 and securing his place among the top eight in the tournament.
