Border Police informs that there are no agreements for joint activity with the National Agency for Control of Protected Areas (NACPA). This was announced by the directorate in response to a query from BTA.

The Border Police Directorate (BPD) adds that in November 2024, officers of the Regional Directorate "Border Police"-Dragoman (RDGP-Dragoman) used a drone with thermal imaging, provided by NACPA, to assist police work on the "illegal migration" line near the Petrohan hut. This happened on the basis of Art. 4 of the Ministry of Interior Act.

The BPD clarifies that no incidents occurred during the one-time assistance provided to NACPA. No reports of exceeding powers by NACPA have been registered at RDGP-Dragoman.

BTA recalls that from 2022 to the present, four signals have been received regarding the activities of the NACPA association and persons associated with the non-governmental organization.
