Pension payment schedule for August 2026
The National Social Security Institute (NSSI) has announced the official pension payment schedule for August 2026:
- Through post offices: Payments will begin on August 7 (Friday) and end on August 20 (Thursday). The specific dates are determined by a schedule available at each post office.
- Via bank transfer: Deposits into pensioners' accounts will be made on August 7, 2026.
We remind you that as of July 1, 2026, all pensions granted by the end of 2025 were adjusted by 7.8% according to the "Swiss rule".
Maternity and unemployment benefits
The NSSI distributes social benefit payments on the following dates:
- August 4: Payment of cash benefits for pregnancy and birth, for raising a child up to 2 years of age, and for the adoption of a child up to 5 years of age (for the month of July).
- August 17 (Monday): Payment date for unemployment benefits.
