The next meeting of allies in the "Ramstein" format set new standards for international collective support, uniting leading world countries and defense organizations in a unified position regarding the conflict in Ukraine.
Among the key participants were the defense ministers of the United Kingdom and Germany – John Healy and Boris Pistorius, accompanied by high-ranking representatives such as the new NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, US Secretary of Defense Pete Hagesett, and General Alexey Grinkevich.
The forum outlined a large-scale military assistance plan, including an innovative mechanism for weapon delivery. The US and NATO developed a special channel through which allies can directly acquire American weapon equipment for Ukrainian forces.
European countries demonstrated impressive commitment. Germany undertook a specific financial and technical commitment – over 200,000 ammunition for Gepard systems, drone financing, and provision of 5 Patriot systems.
Canada announced 20 million Canadian dollars for tank formation support, while the Netherlands provides 200 million euros for interceptor drones and an additional 125 million for F-16 fighters.
Norway plans a large-scale investment of 1 billion euros in drone technologies, with 400 million earmarked for direct support of Ukrainian manufacturers. Sweden is preparing an additional package of air defense and artillery systems.
President Zelensky emphasized the strategic importance of the meeting, defining it as building a "stable and friendly partnership for sustainable peace". The Ukrainian delegation, led by Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, included key military leaders.
The forum not only provided military equipment but also created a lasting international support infrastructure, reinforcing global solidarity with Ukraine.
