A man who exposed and touched his genitals in front of two children on a bench in Burgas has been fined €127.82 (250 leva) for petty hooliganism.
The incident happened on 30 September at around 6:30pm. The man, wearing a T-shirt and shorts, pulled his genitals out through his trouser leg and touched himself. No other adults were nearby, but two children, aged 7 and 10, saw him.
The older child ran into the entrance of a nearby building and told their mother. The woman grabbed her phone and watched the man through the glass of the front door. She took photos and two videos but stayed inside because she was scared, and called 112.
The younger child's father came out and spoke to the man, who stayed in the same position for about half an hour until police arrived. Officers took him to the fourth district police station in Burgas, where they charged him with petty hooliganism. He read the charge sheet and signed it.
In court, he admitted he had been drunk and said he had had more than six beers. He said he was sorry, that he had been working for two days and was renting a place to live. He asked the court himself to fine him €127.82 (250 leva).
The fine comes to €127.82 (250 leva). The man also owes €2.56 in state fees for the court to issue an enforcement order.
