Gala Evening of the Laureates in Burgas: Second Edition of a Prestigious Cultural Event

On December 1, 2025, the Gala Evening of the Laureates will be held in Burgas, bringing together artists with national and international awards. The event is in partnership with the "Lyuben Groys" Theater College and the "Burgas 2032" Foundation, with special guest Dimitar Marinov. Free admission, formal attire.

Burgas is preparing the second edition of one of the newest and most prestigious cultural events in the city – the Gala Evening of the Laureates in the Arts. It will take place on December 1, 2025. And it will once again bring together on one stage artists awarded with national and international awards during the year. Admission for the public is free, but the event is solemn and requires formal attire. 

This year, the Gala Evening is being realized in partnership with the Theater College “Lyuben Groys” and the “Burgas 2032” Foundation. The special guest of the event will be the actor Dimitar Marinov, who will take to the stage together with the talents of the city.

Participants in the program are the City Wind Orchestra, the Symphony Orchestra of the National School of Music “Prof. Pancho Vladigerov”, Vladimir Meranliev - violin, Georgi Todorov - trumpet, Antonia Kondeva - bassoon, also students from the National School of Music, this year's winner of “Burgas and the Sea” Georgi Dyulgerov, students of SU “Dobri Chintulov”,  Choir “Milka Stoeva”, group “Pregarnat Oblak”,  break club Black Style Squad and the dance star Vanessa Kalcheva.

Certificates and sculptures will be awarded to several other famous Burgas residents who were also awarded by the Ministry of Culture during the year: Hristina Arsenova, director of the State Puppet Theatre, Toni Dimitrova, beloved by all of Bulgaria, and the dedicated Milena Dobrevа, who glorified the Burgas choral school with the choral school "Fortissimo".

The list of laureates also includes a poet, photographer and choreographer: Denitsa Mladenova, who won the National Poetry Competition “Dobromir Tonev” with her debut book "First Life" and Svetlin Yosifov, this year's winner of the National Award for Photographic Art “Anastas Karastoyanov”, Veronika Bratanova, head of a ballet school, awarded with the "Golden Age" by the Ministry of Culture.

The Gala Evening promises to be an emotional gesture towards the artists who have significant and inspiring achievements in 2025, who have glorified Burgas and have made its residents feel truly proud. The event is under the sign of Burgas's candidacy for European Capital of Culture 2032 – another step towards building a more visible, dynamic and inspiring urban cultural scene.
