The turning point in human history occurs in the early morning hours when a research team led by the most prominent physicists of the era carries out the first controlled nuclear explosion with unprecedented destructive power.

Exactly at 5:29 AM local time, the "Trinity" experiment causes a gigantic light emission that instantly transforms the sandy wasteland into a molten glass-like space. The incredible explosion generates an enormous mushroom cloud that rises above the desert terrain in Alamogordo County.

This scientific breakthrough has direct geopolitical consequences, directly predetermining the end of World War II. Only weeks later, the American leadership decides to use atomic bombs over the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, which forces Japan to surrender.

The historical experiment becomes a turning point that forever changes international relations, military strategy, and technological development of humanity in the second half of the 20th century.
