After it became clear yesterday that shortcomings were found in the “Elenite” resort, causing concerns, the situation remains tense. The municipality has approved planning schemes that have allowed construction on a riverbed, which led to a ban on access to the holiday village, which is now in its third day. The reason for the measures taken is the risk of new floods, given the intense rainfall in the area.

For the third day now, residents have been prevented from reaching their homes, and the teams engaged with heavy machinery have stopped the clearing activities. The atmosphere is heavy with uncertainty, as clouds hang over the area.

The resort is under 24-hour police surveillance, which underlines the seriousness of the situation. Everyone is asking: when exactly will the access ban be lifted and how did the night go?

The regional governor of Burgas, Vladimir Krumov, in the program "The Day Begins" emphasized "At the moment, the situation in the area is calm. The rain stopped yesterday evening. There are no reports of floods and distressed people". The same words were repeated in a second inclusion in the broadcast.

Despite the reassuring words, the prospect of a quick removal of the restrictions is not clear. Rain forecasts suggest that access to Elenite will most likely be restricted during tomorrow as well. At the same time, the main streets in the “Elenite” complex have been cleaned, as Mr. Krumov specified. The clearing of deposits and stones in front of all buildings is upcoming. This will only be carried out after the improvement of the meteorological situation, which is not favorable at the moment.

Regarding the restoration of normal life, the regional governor pointed out that electricity and water in Elenite will be turned on when the infrastructure is ready.
