The euro was worth $1.1378 on 28 September 2026, according to figures from the European Central Bank and the Bulgarian National Bank.
That's down from $1.1403 on Friday. A dollar now buys 0.8789 euro, up from 0.8770 euro on Friday.
The Bulgarian National Bank sets these rates under article 12, paragraph 1 of the Currency Act. They're not meant to guide trading deals.
A euro buys 0.85785 British pounds, 0.9464 Swiss francs and 7.4752 Danish kroner. It also buys 11.3205 Swedish kronor, 10.8170 Norwegian kroner and 137.00 Icelandic kronur. In central Europe, it buys 24.397 Czech koruna, 4.3730 Polish zloty, 367.10 Hungarian forint, 5.2785 Romanian leu and 55.7318 Turkish lira.
In Asia, a euro buys 178.50 Japanese yen, 7.6352 Chinese yuan and 8.9258 Hong Kong dollars. It also buys 1,545.05 South Korean won, 1.4538 Singapore dollars and 109.2095 Indian rupees. Further afield, it buys 20,453.78 Indonesian rupiah, 4.6456 Malaysian ringgit, 71.099 Philippine pesos, 38.196 Thai baht and 3.4854 Israeli shekels.
A euro also trades for 1.6199 Australian dollars, 2.0071 New Zealand dollars, 1.6118 Canadian dollars, 5.9186 Brazilian reais, 20.2133 Mexican pesos and 18.6510 South African rand.
