A car flipped onto its roof at a roundabout near the Metro store in Burgas after hitting a car with Turkish plates. The crash happened minutes ago. Neither driver was hurt.
It happened at the junction of Stefan Stambolov Boulevard and Transportna Street. Initial reports indicate a Volkswagen with Turkish plates came off the boulevard into the roundabout and hit a Toyota registered in Burgas.
A woman from Burgas was driving the car that flipped over. She climbed out on her own and was not seriously hurt. She said it all happened in seconds: she was already in the roundabout when the Turkish car, going very fast, cut her off and hit her. She said she was still shaking after the crash.
The Turkish driver was not hurt either and stayed at the scene. Police are testing him for alcohol and drugs.
Police have not yet said what caused the crash or exactly how it happened.
