Two people were hurt in a crash at a junction near Karnobat at about 8.30pm yesterday, Burgas regional police said.
It happened where the road from Karnobat to Shumen crosses the road from Lozarevo to Karnobat.
Police say a 32-year-old man from the village of Nevestino, near Karnobat, was driving a Volkswagen Golf Plus. He did not stop at a stop sign and failed to give way to an Audi 80. The Audi was driven by an 18-year-old man from the village of Detelina, also in Karnobat municipality.
The Audi driver and a 23-year-old woman from Karnobat, a passenger in the Volkswagen, were hurt. Both have chest injuries and were taken to Deva Maria hospital.
