The branch of the National Academy of Arts in Burgas opens its doors to prospective students and all art lovers within the framework of Open Days, which will be held from April 1 to 3, 2026. The event will give visitors the opportunity to get to know the training at the Academy closely, by visiting the studios of the different specialties, observing the creative process and receiving information about the entrance exams, training and professional realization.
The program in Burgas will be implemented in three locations – Magazia 1 in the Port Complex, the International Congress Center and the Center for Contemporary Art and Library. Specialties such as "Painting", "Graphics", "Book, Illustration, Printed Graphics", "Poster and Visual Communication", "Fashion Design" will be presented, as well as master's programs such as "Photography", "Art Therapy" and "The Cultural Heritage of the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast". Visitors will have the opportunity to visit the "Atelier" gallery, meet with students and teachers, as well as receive consultations from the Academy's experts.
The Open Days are part of the general initiative of the National Academy of Arts, which will also be held in Sofia in the period March 30 – April 1, 2026, including all training bases of the higher school.
The National Academy of Arts is the oldest and most authoritative art school in Bulgaria. Founded in 1896, for 130 years it has been training generations of artists and specialists who shape the modern visual appearance of the country.
