SFA: 45 Million BGN for Viticulture, Winemaking, and Apiculture in 2025

The State Fund "Agriculture" reported that over 45 million BGN were paid out for the "viticulture, winemaking", and apiculture sectors in 2025. The funds were distributed through various interventions according to the Strategic Plan.

The State Fund "Agriculture" (SFA) announced the successful completion of the 2025 financial year for interventions in the strategically important sectors of "Viticulture" and "Beekeeping". The fund reported that the total funds disbursed in the two areas exceed 45 million leva, reaching a specific amount of 45,638,155 leva.

According to the Strategic Plan for the Development of Agriculture and Rural Areas, covering the period from 2023 to 2027, the deadline for payments for interventions in the key sectors of beekeeping and viticulture is fixed on October 15th. This is emphasized by the SFA.

Beekeeping

In the beekeeping sector, for the 2025 financial year, over 6 million leva have been transferred, namely 6,236,958 leva. This has been realized through the processing of a total of 1450 applications submitted. The distribution of funds for specific interventions reflects the priorities of the sector.

Viticulture Sector

In the viticulture sector, during the financial year, 234 applications for advance and final payments under contracts have been processed and paid. The total amount of funds disbursed reaches 39,401,197 leva. The distribution of funds for interventions reflects the strategic orientation of the sector.

In addition, BTA recalls that from October 15th to November 15th, 2025, applications for the intervention "Restructuring and conversion of vineyards" will be accepted in accordance with the Strategic Plan for the Development of Agriculture and Rural Areas for the period 2023 - 2027. The budget provided for this intervention amounts to 14,611,583.30 leva (7,470,783.91 euros) for the 2026 financial year and 19,289,166.49 leva (9,862,394.22 euros) for the 2027 financial year.
