Minister of Tourism Ilin Dimitrov officially honored the representatives of nine Bulgarian hotels that were included in the world-famous MICHELIN Guide Hotels selection. This success is a significant recognition of the professionalism and high quality of services in our sector.
This success was achieved thanks to your work, without state intervention or support, and that is precisely why it is so valuable, stated Minister Dimitrov.

The prestigious selection includes properties from across the country, four of which have been awarded the prestigious MICHELIN Key:

How are the Michelin hotels selected?
Representatives of the hotel industry emphasized that the selection by Michelin inspectors is entirely independent and carried out without prior notice. Criteria evaluated include:
- Distinct character and identity of the property
- Consistently high quality
- Impeccable level of service
- Clear connection to the local destination
The Ministry of Tourism plans to use its channels to promote these properties in order to encourage investment in quality and place Bulgaria on the world map as a destination with a high standard of experiences.
