A children's police department has opened at Hristo Botev school in Ekzarh Antimovo, a village in Karnobat municipality.
The programme aims to teach pupils safe behaviour and keep them away from antisocial acts. The children will learn discipline and respect for the law.
Officers from Karnobat district police station will visit the school throughout the school year. They will run practical lessons, talks and demonstrations, so pupils can see up close how police officers work.
