Peevski strikes back: Report filed with the Prosecutor's Office against "Democratic Bulgaria"
DPS leader Delyan Peevski has officially notified the Prosecutor's Office to conduct an investigation into claims made by representatives of "Democratic Bulgaria" (DB) regarding his trips abroad.
"The behavior and obsessions of these failed politicians are of no public or political interest, but in the name of justice, such acts of systematic defamation must face the full force of the law," Peevski stated.
According to him, these attacks are an attempt to create a "toxic atmosphere" by politicians who cannot swallow their own "catastrophic failure."
Why did DB file a report against Peevski?
- On Wednesday, "Democratic Bulgaria" notified the GDBOP (General Directorate for Combating Organized Crime).
- The reason is Peevski's frequent trips to Dubai.
- DB claims there is evidence of "undue influence" in public procurement.
The conflict escalated after DB expressed well-founded suspicions of dependencies, while Peevski categorically rejects the accusations, labeling them as fabricated manipulations.
