CSKA Tops the Table in the Premier Table Tennis League

CSKA took the lead in the Premier Table Tennis League standings after the first tournament in Panagyurishte. The team achieved convincing victories, while Asarel Medet took second place. The next stage will be in Dupnitsa.

CSKA topped the standings after the completion of the opening tournament of the first stage of the Super League from the National Team Table Tennis Championship for men, which took place in "Arena Asarel" in Panagyurishte. The event, which marked the beginning of the competition in this sport, brought together the best teams in the country, competing for the prestigious title.

The Sofia team demonstrated impressive form, recording clear victories in all four of their matches. Their rivals from Mass Tennis (Plovdiv), Roko (Shumen) and Dunav (Ruse) were defeated with a score of 4:1. The most tense match for CSKA turned out to be the direct clash for the leading position against the hosts from Asarel Medet, where the victory was won with 4:3.

Asarel Medet, although they lost to the champions, showed solid play, taking second place with three victories. They convincingly defeated Kometa Plus (Lukovit) with 4:0, and then - Merek-Digesta Sport (Dupnitsa) with 4:1. Another victory was recorded against Mass Tennis with 4:2.

Borovets (Gorna Oryahovitsa), Marek, Dunav and Mass Tennis finished with two victories each. Kometa recorded one victory, while Roko ended up in the last eighth position with four losses.

The atmosphere in "Arena Asarel" was filled with tension and enthusiasm, especially during the key matches. The audience supported their favorites with enthusiastic cheers, which further increased the adrenaline of the players. The sound of the balls hitting the tables and the applause of the spectators created a unique sporting atmosphere.

Expectations are high for the next stages of the championship. The second tournament of the first stage of the championship is planned for November 15 and 16 in Dupnitsa.
