To ensure peace in the neighborhood following the tragedy involving a four-year-old child in Sliven, an increased police presence has been deployed, reinforced by teams from the Zonal Gendarmerie Headquarters in Burgas. In the meantime, pre-trial proceedings have been initiated, and law enforcement authorities are continuing to work actively to establish the full sequence of events.

After analyzing the gathered oral and technical evidence, the Sliven police officially refuted reports that a vehicle, including an electric one, was involved in the incident. It has become clear that the collision occurred directly between two minors who did not know each other and were not even playing together at the time of the fatal incident.

The investigation into the case began immediately after the report was received late in the afternoon on September 11. As part of the immediate actions taken, numerous procedural and investigative measures were carried out to clarify the circumstances surrounding this incident.
