The exhibition "The Poetry of Stone" will stay at Burgas's Natural History Museum, at 30 Konstantin Fotinov Street, until May 2027 — visitors have shown that much interest. The exhibits include diamonds, rubies, emeralds, sapphires and amethyst crystals.
Until 31 October, the Archaeological Museum at 21 Bogoridi Boulevard is showing the exhibition "Sgraffito Ceramics from Bulgarian Lands, 13th–19th Centuries". It features finds from Tarnovgrad, Rusokastro, Varna, Businci, Troyan and Etar, tracing how this type of pottery changed over the centuries.
Also until 31 October, the Ethnographic Museum at 69 Slavyanska Street is hosting the photo exhibition "Anastenaria: In the Sacred Ecstasy of Tradition". The photos are by Greek photographer Dimitris Louzikiotis and tell the story of the fire-walking tradition, its rituals and the people who keep it alive.
A second exhibition by the same photographer, "At the Threshold of Mount Athos", is on show at the Historical Museum at 31 Lermontov Street until 14 October. It captures the atmosphere of a place where access is restricted.
Until the end of September, Burgas's museums are open every day from 10:00 to 18:00. From 1 October, they will welcome visitors Monday to Saturday, from 9:00 to 17:00.
