The Red Cross in Burgas maintains constant activity with social, training and volunteer initiatives. On the territory of the city and the region, the volunteers of the Bulgarian Red Cross-Burgas distribute food packages to homes, support the homeless, pensioners and single mothers, and the "Hot Lunch" program provides ready-made food to over 1000 vulnerable people.

The Youth Red Cross organizes first aid training for students, workers and volunteers – participants master techniques for resuscitation, behavior in case of injuries, providing assistance in disasters. Demonstrations, competitions of student teams and training of an emergency squad are held.

At the end of the year, volunteers organize the traditional Christmas campaign "Give Christmas" – donations are collected for gifts for children from risk groups and celebrations are held with the participation of actors, public figures and partner organizations.

Volunteers work on road safety programs – they distribute reflectors and informational materials, teach children safe behavior when moving in the city.

Anyone can join clubs and emergency teams, take free training and support the charitable actions of the Bulgarian Red Cross-Burgas in support of those in need.
