Cherno More defeated Chernomorets Burgas 1:0 in their second friendly match for the day. The match was played at the Ticha Stadium in Varna. The only goal in the match was scored by Dimitar Zaimov in the 61st minute.
The two teams played a weak first half, in which they hardly created any clear goal-scoring chances. The best opportunity in the first half was for the guests in the 38th minute, when after a cross into the penalty area of the home team, Julien Ivanov headed the ball towards the second post, but it passed centimeters to the side of the goal.
In the 54th minute, Chris Dobrev was played behind Cherno More's defense and shot, but goalkeeper Kristian Tomov saved. Within a few seconds after that, the Varna goalkeeper managed to deflect dangerous shots from Janer Sadetinov and Yaya Drame. In the 61st minute, Cherno More opened the score. Dimitar Zaimov received a pass in the penalty area of Chernomorets, turned and scored with a ground shot for 1:0. In the 89th minute, the guests could have equalized the score. Wenison Carea intercepted the ball after a cross into the home team's penalty area, but it went over the goal.
So far, Cherno More has played four friendly matches. In the first, the Varna team defeated Farul in Constanta 2:1, in the second – they lost to Dobrudzha 0:1, in the third - the “sailors” prevailed over Etar Veliko Tarnovo 6:0, and today the Varna team lost to Lokomotiv Gorna Oryahovitsa 0:1 and won against Chernomorets Burgas 1:0.
The last test for the “green-whites” before the resumption of the championship is on January 31 (Saturday), and the opponent is again the team of Etar.
In their first match of the spring part of the championship, Cherno More hosts city rivals Spartak 1918 Varna on February 7 (Saturday) at 12:30 at “Ticha”.
