Partial Closure of "Odrin" Street Due to Repairs
BURGAS - A central road artery in the city will be partially closed to traffic in connection with upcoming repair and restoration activities. The organization of traffic on "Odrin" Street will undergo serious changes, which is expected to affect thousands of drivers.
Starting at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, a temporary traffic organization will be implemented. The reason is the repair of the road surface in the section from "Trapezitsa" Square to "San Stefano" Boulevard. The most affected section is from "Struma" Street to the roundabout at "Trapezitsa" Square, where the northern lane will be completely closed to vehicular traffic.
To ensure traffic continuity, two-way traffic will be temporarily introduced in the southern lane. This decision is expected to somewhat relieve the pressure on the main boulevards, but drivers are still advised to be especially careful. Experts warn that such changes often lead to significant traffic difficulties, especially during peak hours.
The necessary road markings and signaling will be placed on-site to indicate the new temporary organization. The responsible authorities call on all participants in traffic to strictly observe the new rules and to comply with the instructions of law enforcement officials who will be located in the area to regulate the flow of cars.
The planned activities are part of a broader program to improve urban infrastructure, but they will nevertheless test the patience of drivers and residents of the nearby areas who use this busy route daily.
