The average electricity price in the "Intraday" segment reaches 102.48 euros per megawatt-hour for 60-minute products and 120.44 euros per megawatt-hour for 15-minute products (excluding VAT), according to the latest report.
In the "Day-ahead" segment, the total traded volume reaches 109,241.13 megawatt-hours. Data from today's trading on the Bulgarian Independent Energy Exchange (BIEE) shows that the average price for deliveries on 17 September will be 159.11 euros per megawatt-hour excluding VAT.
This value represents a 13.42% increase compared to the prices for 16 September, when the average price was fixed at 140.29 euros per megawatt-hour. Significant differences in pricing are observed based on the consumption time intervals for tomorrow.
The rise in energy prices on the exchange may affect electricity costs for households and businesses in Burgas and the region.
While the average price during the peak period between 09:00 and 20:00 is 116.06 euros per megawatt-hour, the situation is different during off-peak hours. In the intervals from 01:00 to 08:00 and from 21:00 to 24:00, the average price of energy reaches 202.17 euros per megawatt-hour.
