International markets are under heavy pressure due to conflicts in the Middle East, which is directly reflecting on retail prices in our country. Traders are forced to adjust prices upward for another month, with the upward trend following the movement of global market quotes.

A significant increase is seen in diesel, the price of which has risen by more than 5 percent. While a liter was selling for 1.76 euros at the beginning of August, today consumers are paying 1.87 euros. Forecasts indicate that the price hike will continue, fueled by a noticeable shortage of diesel on international exchanges. It is significant that in recent weeks, the value of diesel there has even exceeded that of jet fuel.

In parallel, the most popular gasoline, A-95, is also becoming more expensive, recording a jump of more than 4.5% compared to levels at the beginning of August. At that time, a liter of the fuel cost 1.54 euros, and after a period of slight stagnation, its price has now reached 1.61 euros today.
