Burgas council says the city will host the first "Literature and Place: International Creative Writing Retreat" on 24 and 25 October.
The idea came from Irina Papancheva, a writer born in Burgas.
The retreat is paid for by the Culture Fund of Burgas council and by Flanders Literature, the Flemish literary house. The publishers Znaci and Isida are partners.
