Burgas Regional Administration announced that an assessment of the damage in the "Elenite" villa resort and the undertaking of restoration actions are forthcoming. The situation in the area continues to be a priority for the authorities, after the evacuation of residents became necessary.

Immediate support was provided to the people evacuated from "Elenite". This included logistical and psychological assistance, as well as first aid. The responsible institutions assure that the evacuees will not be left outside their homes for more than 24 hours.

At the moment, there is no information about people in danger. This is encouraging news, but the authorities remain vigilant.

Throughout the night, teams from the police, as well as Fire Safety and Population Protection, will remain on site. Their main task is to ensure the safety of the people and to carefully monitor the situation. The sound of sirens pierces the night, while the law enforcement officers remain focused on fulfilling their duty.

Meanwhile, the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology announced the expectation of new rainfall in the area. However, their intensity is expected to be lower than that which caused the current situation. We are all monitoring the development of the meteorological situation with increased attention, as natural disasters can be unpredictable.
