Burgas is preparing for another busy weekend, offering a diverse program for all ages and preferences, ideal for extending the summer and collecting the last rays of sun. The seaside city has prepared a rich palette of events capable of satisfying even the most demanding tastes, both for families and for groups of friends.

International Festival of Historical Documentary Film

A central place in the program is occupied by the seventh edition of the International Festival of Historical Documentary Film, which will be held from September 17 to 22. The festival will present ten films in its official competition program, selected from among the most daring and inspiring productions, exploring various aspects of the past. The participation of producers, directors and screenwriters from all over the world is expected, who will share their experience and views. Concert "I Love Burgas_

One of the most anticipated events is the traditional concert "I Love Burgas", which will be held on September 20 at the Summer Theatre from 8:00 PM. Popular Bulgarian performers will appear on stage, including Mary Boys Band, Veniamin, vocal trio Deja Vu, Rusi Rusen, David Minalov and others. Tickets for the concert are on sale at the "Clock" box office. Great interest in the concert is expected, judging by the popularity of the participating performers.

Sand Sculpture Festival

For lovers of sand sculptures, the Sand Sculpture Festival is still open for visits. Its opening hours are from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM, without a day off.

State Puppet Theatre - Burgas

The youngest residents and guests of Burgas will be able to enjoy new productions from the repertoire of the State Puppet Theatre - Burgas, which is opening its new season. On September 20, a performance of "The Three Little Pigs" is planned, first in the theatre building itself from 11:00 AM, and later, from 5:00 PM, in the Youth International Centre - Burgas. On Sunday, September 21, the theatre offers its viewers "The Fisherman and the Golden Fish", starting at 5:00 PM.

Rusi Chanev at NHK Cultural Centre

Two evenings will be dedicated to the acting talent of Rusi Chanev at the NHK Cultural Centre on September 23 and 24. On September 23, at 7:00 PM, a restored version of the iconic Bulgarian film "Advantage" will be shown. The following day, at 5:30 PM, a documentary film about the actor, titled "Actor's Soul", will be presented. Admission to both screenings is free.

International Boxing Tournament "Burgas Cup"

Sporting emotions will be satisfied by the International Boxing Tournament "Burgas Cup", which will be held from September 19 to 21 in the "Boycho Branzov" sports hall. The organizer of the tournament is Royal Boxing Club.

IV Animation Film Festival

The upcoming IV Animation Film Festival, to be held from September 25 to 27, promises to bring a variety of animated films. The opening is scheduled for September 25 at 6:30 PM at the NHK Cultural Centre with a screening of Clarissa's Fantasy.

Saint Anastasia Island
