A prestigious initiative dedicated to the interdisciplinary interaction between natural environment, industrial heritage, and urban development will be realized in the cultural space of the Regional Library "Peyo K. Yavorov". The forum is held on the eve of the significant 45th anniversary of the declaration of Atanasovo Lake as a protected territory.

The organizers from the Bulgarian Biodiversity Foundation, together with the Burgas-2032 Foundation, present a large-scale concept that goes beyond the traditional boundaries of urban planning. The event aims to expose innovative strategies for sustainable development of lakeside territories through architectural developments by young specialists.

The exhibition will feature impressive diploma projects by promising architects - Anna Zhelezova, Kristina Tancheva, and Maria Petkova. Their developments offer modern solutions for the renovation of Atanasovo Lake and the adjacent urbanized spaces.

A key moment in the presentation is the concept "Burgas of Three Lakes and One Sea", which demonstrates a holistic approach to preserving biological diversity and integration between natural and urbanized zones. The initiative is an important step in Burgas's candidacy for European Capital of Culture in 2032.
