"Bulgargaz" offers a price for natural gas for April of 34.27 euros per megawatt-hour (MWh), excluding access, transmission, excise duty, and VAT. This is stated in a request from the company submitted to the Commission for Energy and Water Regulation (KEVR), which must approve the price. The request is published on the KEVR website.

The regulator approved a price for natural gas for March in the amount of 32.60 euros/MWh, excluding access, transmission, excise duty, and VAT. This means that the price offered by "Bulgargaz" for April is 5.12 higher than that for March.

BTA recalls that, as a result of the war in the Middle East, the supply of oil and natural gas is difficult. This led to a rise in the price of April futures for natural gas on the TTF hub in the Netherlands, as well as on the "Gas Hub Balkan".
