Bulgaria's power exchange price for business falls 4.06% for 10 October

The average price on the BNEB power exchange for delivery on 10 October is €231.68 per megawatt hour, excluding VAT. For 9 October it was €241.49.

Business electricity for delivery on 10 October is 4.06% cheaper than for 9 October, according to the Bulgarian Independent Energy Exchange (IBEX) after today's market close.

On the day-ahead segment, where power for tomorrow is traded today, the average price is €231.68 per megawatt hour, excluding VAT. At the close on 8 October, for delivery on 9 October, it was €241.49.

In peak hours, from 09:00 to 20:00, a megawatt hour costs an average of €205.68. Off-peak power, from 01:00 to 08:00 and from 21:00 to 24:00, is dearer, at an average of €257.67.

In total, 77,655.25 megawatt hours were traded on the exchange.

On the intraday segment, the weighted average price for 60-minute products so far is €241.72 per megawatt hour, excluding VAT. For 15-minute products, the weighted average price for the day so far is €251.96 per megawatt hour, excluding VAT.
