Bomb threats alarmed Varna
Today, four bomb threats were received in the city of Varna, prompting an immediate response from law enforcement. The threats were directed at several educational institutions, a religious temple, and the city's airport.
"At this moment, no real threat has been established," announced the Varna police press office.
Measures taken
- The police conducted a full inspection of all reports received.
- Varna Airport implemented enhanced preventive surveillance measures, although management clarified that they did not receive a direct threat.
- At this time, all inspections have concluded, and no dangerous objects or explosive devices were found.
The threatening messages were sent via email. The Ministry of the Interior continues to work on the case to identify the perpetrators.
