BNR Burgas will broadcast a live pre-election debate on the presidential and vice-presidential vote from 2pm today, the radio said.
The 2pm and 4pm news bulletins will not air because of the debate. The regional public broadcaster's news roundup will start at 5pm sharp.
The debate is free and is part of the election campaign. A Radio Sofia team is preparing it, and all regional stations of Bulgarian National Radio will carry it live.
The host is Danail Konov. The topic is "The powers of the president: between institutional balance and real influence. Is it time for the head of state, besides uniting the nation, to be an active political player on foreign policy, national security and social and economic crises?"
