The U14 team of Basketball Club "Sveti Vlas" achieved a historic finish to the 2025/2026 season, securing a prestigious 4th place in Division I. The success came after a hard-fought participation in the Final Four tournament, which brought together the four best teams in the country.
The path to the Final Four
The winners from the two zones of the championship reached the final four:
- East Zone: BC "Sveti Vlas" and BC "Sliven Basket"
- West Zone: BC "Ahil" (Sofia) and BC "Akademik" (Plovdiv)
"Although they were just one step away from the medals, the athletes showed excellent preparation, fighting spirit, and worthily represented Basketball Club "Sveti Vlas", the town of Sveti Vlas, and the Municipality of Nessebar."
In the semi-final and the bronze medal match, the boys played extremely evenly-matched games against the strong teams of BC "Akademik" (Plovdiv) and BC "Sliven Basket". The club's management expresses its sincere gratitude to the athletes, coaches, and parents for their dedication throughout the season.
