Prices for services businesses sell to other businesses rose 7.2% in the second quarter of 2026 compared with a year earlier, the National Statistical Institute says. Compared with the first quarter of this year, prices were up 2.4%.
The yearly rise is speeding up: in the first quarter, prices were 5.5% higher than a year before. Quarter on quarter, though, growth eased slightly, from 2.5% to 2.4%.
Real estate saw the sharpest rise of any sector, with prices up 3.1% on the previous quarter.
The figures come from the producer price index for business services, published by the National Statistical Institute on its website.
