The “Elizabeth Kostova” Foundation is organizing free creative workshops in prose, poetry, and literary translation for young people aged 16–29 from Burgas. The workshops are part of the “Black Sea Spring” program and will be held on March 13 and 14, 2026 in Burgas.
Goal: A meeting of young people from Burgas with experienced writers, poets, and translators for joint work, exchange of ideas, and deepening in the literary process.

- Professional feedback
- Getting to know the different stages of writing
- Examining the challenges of literary translation
Place and time: Regional Library “Peyo Yavorov”, Burgas, March 13-14, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Disciplines:
- Prose: Alexander Hristov and Vladimir Poleganov
- Poetry: Bozhana Slavkova and Rumen Pavlov
- Literary Translation (English): Alexander Marinov and Maria Zmiycharova
Leaders: Brief information about the leaders (including awards and publications).
Conditions for participation:
- Age: 16-29 years (for translators over 29)
- Free participation
- Limited number of places (application)
- For translation: translation of an excerpt from English
- Selection of only one of the workshops
