Discover the Magic of Bonsai Art in Burgas
For yet another year, the Youth International Center-Burgas will participate in the National Flower Exhibition “Flora”. This time, the program offers something exceptionally special: a free bonsai course for young people interested in nature and ornamental horticulture.
The event will offer a unique opportunity to get acquainted with the philosophy and specific techniques of bonsai art under the guidance of a recognized specialist. The course is aimed at young people aged 15 to 29.
What will you learn during the course?
The program is carefully structured to cover both the theoretical foundations and practical skills:
- Theoretical part: History of bonsai, general typology and classification, basic styles and design principles.
- Practical part: Each participant will have the opportunity to create their own small bonsai tree (shohin).
Important: Places are limited to only 15 participants to ensure maximum attention to each of you!

The course will be held on May 3rd of this year, within the framework of the “Flora” exhibition.

About the Leading Instructor
The course will be led by Trifon Trifonov – a bonsai artist with over 35 years of experience in the field of bonsai art and plant growing. Eng. Trifon Trifonov is a second-generation producer and gardener whose passion for dendrology and genetics allows him to pass on his knowledge with incredible precision. He is a member of the International Plant Propagators Society (IPPS) and has extensive experience in professional landscaping.
