The coach of Bashakshehir Çadaş Atan analyzed the impressive performance of his team against Cherno More (Varna) in the second qualifying round of the UEFA Conference League, emphasizing the exceptional execution during the first part of the match.

In an official statement after the match, which ended with a convincing 4:0, the specialist shared details about the achieved success. "The first half was almost perfect from our point of view," Atan commented. He candidly admitted that the pace of the game significantly dropped in the second half.

The football expert did not hide that the team could have achieved an even more convincing result. "In European matches, we must not allow ourselves to be careless," the 45-year-old manager was categorical, expressing hope for a more consistent performance going forward.

The Istanbul team has already secured a 5:0 advantage after the initial 1:0 victory in Razgrad, which practically guarantees their advancement in the tournament.

Looking ahead to the next round, Atan gave a detailed assessment of the upcoming opponent - the Norwegian team Viking. "They are a young and dynamic team, currently leading their championship," noted the coach, emphasizing the need for special preparation for the match.

A special focus in his statement was the adaptation to the synthetic pitches on which Viking hosts. "We will use the artificial turf in our academy to prepare as best as possible," Atan explained, demonstrating a professional approach to the upcoming challenge.

In the context of upcoming team changes, the coach also commented on the departure of Polish striker Krzysztof Piatek, who after 67 matches and 38 scored goals is joining Qatari Al Duhail.

"Piatek was a special player, but the new additions possess qualities that can compensate for his absence," Atan assured, expressing confidence in the team's future development.
